Terms of service.

• Use Wren to send emails you have a legitimate reason to send. No spam, no abuse, no scams.
• You own what you write. We just store and render it for you.
• Free has a monthly allowance and a small Wren stamp. Paid plans lift both.
• Either of us can end the relationship — cancel any time, and we may suspend accounts that break these rules.

"Wren", "we", and "us" refer to the team operating usewren.app. "You" means the person or organisation using the service. If you're using Wren on behalf of a company, you confirm you're allowed to bind that company to these terms.

You need an account to use Wren. Keep your password to yourself, don't share logins, and let us know right away if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for everything sent from your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to sign up. Wren isn't designed for children.

Don't use Wren to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), phishing, or anything misleading about who the email is from.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against anyone.
• Distribute malware, run scams, or violate anyone's IP or privacy rights.
• Break the law where you live, where we operate, or where the recipient lives.
• Probe, scrape, or reverse engineer Wren beyond what the law allows.
• Resell or sublicense Wren without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and in serious cases report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

You keep ownership of everything you create in Wren — drafts, copy, uploaded logos and hero images. You grant us a narrow, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, render, transmit, and back up that content solely so the product can function for you (e.g. showing a preview, generating an HTML export, sending it through your email provider). This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You confirm you have the right to upload everything you upload, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Wren uses AI to draft, polish, and suggest. AI output can be wrong, biased, or sound convincing while being inaccurate — always re-read before you send. You are responsible for what you send from your account, AI-assisted or not. We don't guarantee any particular generation result and AI output isn't legal, medical, or financial advice.

Free includes a monthly generation allowance and adds a small "Made with Wren" stamp to outgoing emails. Paid plans (credit packs and Pro) lift limits and remove the stamp. Current pricing is on the pricing section.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel from your settings any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Credit packs are one-time purchases and don't auto-renew.

We don't offer refunds for partial periods unless required by law (e.g. statutory rights in the EU/UK). If a charge looks wrong, email billing@usewren.app within 30 days and we'll make it right.

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers; changes apply from your next renewal.

Wren produces the design and copy. Sending happens through your own Gmail, Outlook, or other email account. Deliverability, recipient consent, and any required unsubscribe mechanisms are your responsibility under laws like CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.

We're actively improving Wren, which means features can change. We won't materially degrade the core product without notice. If we discontinue a paid feature you're relying on, we'll give reasonable notice and a prorated refund where appropriate.

You can close your account any time from settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, creates legal risk, or has been inactive for an extended period. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any unused prepaid balance.

On termination, your right to use Wren ends and we delete content per the schedule in our Privacy page.

Wren is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Wren is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (e.g. for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights).

You agree to defend and indemnify Wren against third-party claims arising from (a) content you send through Wren, (b) your breach of these terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands — unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, in which case that right applies.

Before filing anything, please email hello@usewren.app so we can try to sort it out informally — most things can be fixed with a conversation.

If we make a material change, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Wren after the change means you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can cancel before they take effect and we'll refund any unused prepaid balance.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it. You can't transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we can transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. These terms (plus the Privacy page) are the entire agreement between us about Wren.
