· REMINDER

Q2 goals are due Friday

A quick reminder that Q2 goals need to be in the shared doc by end of day Friday, March 28. If you've already added yours, thank you. If not, twenty minutes now saves a longer conversation later. Reply here if anything is blocking you and I'll help unblock it.

Optional note

How to write one

Say the exact deadline in the subject line. "Friday" beats "soon". A date beats a day of the week.

Keep the body under four sentences. Long reminders get ignored; short ones get acted on.

Offer help rather than pressure. "Reply if anything is blocking you" is more effective than another chase.

Frequently asked

How do I send a reminder without sounding pushy?
Be brief, specific, and offer help. Skip apologies and filler — they read as passive-aggressive. State the deadline and move on.
When should I send a reminder?
Two to three days before the deadline for small tasks, a week before for larger ones. A same-day reminder is fine only if it's the first ask.
Should I send a follow-up if people miss it?
Yes, but individually. A second all-hands reminder feels like nagging; a direct message to the people still outstanding gets it done.
