YOU'RE INVITED

Summer offsite, June 12–13 in Sigtuna

from

Northwind

This year's summer offsite is Thursday and Friday, June 12–13, at Sigtunahöjden just outside the city. Two days of workshops, dinner together, and time to actually talk to people you don't usually work with. Travel and accommodation are covered. Bring comfortable shoes — one of the workshops is outside. RSVP by Friday, May 16 so we can confirm rooms.

Optional note

How to write one

The subject line should carry the what, when, and where. "Summer offsite, June 12–13 in Sigtuna" beats "Save the date".

Say what the event actually is and what people should expect. Vague invites get vague responses.

Make the RSVP one click and give a real deadline. "Whenever" is not a deadline.

Frequently asked

What makes a team event invitation work?
Specifics. Real date, real location, one sentence on what to expect, and a clear RSVP with a deadline.
Should the invitation be formal?
Match the event. A team dinner is casual; a company-wide offsite deserves a bit more structure. Either way, keep the language plain.
How far in advance should I send it?
For half-day events, a week or two. For offsites or anything requiring travel, at least four to six weeks.
